The Believers Joy
Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the Lord is your strength. – Nehemiah 8:10
One of the saddest things in our churches today is the joyless lives of many of the believers. The scripture tells us that “the joy of the Lord is our strength”
You must choose joy.
You must pursue joy.
How can I experience the Joy of the Lord in my life?
Joy comes from making God’s words personal
Joy comes from whole hearted service
Joy comes from faithful service
Joy comes from winning souls
Joy comes from answered prayers
Joy comes from the presence of the Lord
Joy comes from knowing your children are walking in the truth
If you are not experiencing the Joy of the Lord, ask:
Am I spending time daily in the presence of the Lord
Do I recognise and appreciate the Holy Spirit
Do I have unconfessed sin
