The Big Picture

The Big Picture

1If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. 2Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. 3For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. 4When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory. – Colossians 3:1-4

What characterizes most people’s lives?  They are trying to find money where there is no money.  They are trying to find happiness where there is no happiness.  They are trying to find comfort and security where this is none.  They are trying to find something where there is nothing.

So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen.  For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. – 2 Cor. 4:18

To put it simply:  life begins with God.  Life ends with God.  And somehow, we must sandwich Him in the middle of our lives.
