Little Ones

Little Ones

Jeremiah 1:5

Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

In God’s eyes, life is sacred, but in America, life is scared!

Life is sacred because God made it

It was created by God

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. – Genesis 1:27

It is protected by God

Thou hast granted me life and favour, and thy visitation hath preserved my spirit. – Job 10:12

It is valued by God

Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me. – Isaiah 49:16

Life is sacred no matter what its condition might be

Life is a challenge in a sin-tainted world

With a sin-tainted world pain, suffering, injustice is common

We are to give these to God

We must not overlook those who have challenges in this life

Jesus showed special consideration for the lame, the blind, the leapers

Life is sacred because of its eternal nature

Life exists before we enter the material world

15My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.

16Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them. – Psalm 139:15-16

Life exists after the new birth

Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. – John 3:3

If we believe we are entitled to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. We should extend that right to ones who can not defend themselves.

God has a plan, a plan for our life, a plan for all life.  Let’s not assume we know God’s plan and take a life.
