For God So Loved…

For God So Loved…
Mark 16:15Our God is Missions minded The Gospel is a Missions message The Great Commission is a Missions mandate

A strong Missions program rests on these three foundations:

A Compassionate God
The description of God’s Love – John 3:16
It is extravagant – “God so loved” It is a love so intense that it is everlasting. – Jeremiah 32:3
It is a love so incomprehensible that it passes knowledge. – Eph.3:19
It is a love so indiscriminate that it would be given to the least worthy sinners.- Romans
It is exhaustive
“the world” – 2 Peter 3:9, 1 Timothy 2:4
It is expansive
“that He gave”
The Demonstration of God’s love
He presented a Savior – Genesis 3:15
He provided a Savior – Relations 4:4-5, 1 Corinthians 15:3-4
It is a Compelling Message – Romans 1:14-16, 1 Corinthians 9:16
It is a distinct message
Every major religion relies upon performance for salvation
The Gospel centers upon a Person for salvation – John 14:6, Acts 4:12, Acts 13:38
Other religions tell you what to do to be saved, Christianity tells you what has been done to save
It is a dynamic message – Romans 1:16-17
The Gospel is a perticular message
The Gospel is a powerful message
A Commisioned People – Mark 15:16
Every member involved
Missions is imperative – “Go”
Missions is inclusive – “Ye”
Either you are sent or you send
Every man evangelized
Our promise to God is 2 Corinthians 8:5
The message of that verse is giving, giving, giving
Give Him our heart
Give Him our gift
Give Him our finances
